Tato část ISO 16063 specifikuje přístrojové vybavení a postupy používané při sekundární kalibraci přímočarých snímačů rázy s využitím referenčního měření zrychlení, rychlosti nebo síly rázu s danou časovou závislostí. Metody platí pro doby trvání rázového pulsu v rozsahu 0,05 ms až 8,0 ms a dynamický rozsah (špičková hodnota) 100 m/s2 až 100 km/s2 (s časovou závislostí). Metody umožňují zjištění citlivosti snímače na rázy (tj. vztah mezi špičkovými hodnotami veličiny na výstupu snímače a zrychlením). Tyto metody nejsou určeny ke kalibraci snímačů dynamické síly používané při modální analýze.
