Tato mezinárodní norma popisuje parametry vazby mezi rukama obsluhy stroje a vibrujícím povrchem stroje. Vazbu mezi rukou a vibrujícím povrchem lze popsat pomocí různých parametrů a částí složek těchto parametrů: a) parametry síly, jako je přítlak, přítah a stisk; b) parametry, jako je tlak vyvíjený na kůži. Informativní přílohy poskytují navíc návody k měřicím postupům, měření parametrů síly a tlaku a informace k požadavkům na měřicí přístroje, jakož i metodu kalibrace.
